Ariana Grande Puts Nike Air Force 1s & Hand Tattoos on Display During Utah Getaway

Ariana Grande is making headlines and this time it’s for her hand tattoos. The singer posted a slideshow of images on Sunday from her trip to Utah and one featured a shot of her hands seemingly covered in ink. Grande was seen in a pool, wearing a map-print head scarf, holding her phone, which put a moon and other tattoos on display. For her getaway to Amangiri Resort in Utah, Grande dressed casual. In another photo of herself posing against a canyon backdrop, the “Thank U, Next” singer wore Nike Air Force 1 sneakers in all white. She paired the $90 kicks with a charming  Burberry wool sweatshirt  that was detailed with a fawn motif designed by Riccardo Tisci (Keep scrolling through her Instagram photos to see). Grande completed her look with a vintage Burberry Sonny belt bag and 3×1 boyfriend jeans. It’s not a surprise that Grande opted to wear Nike Air Force 1s on vacation as it is one of the  most-purchased sneakers  so far in 2020. According to market research company The NPD Group,...

Google is delaying the shutdown of Chrome apps, but you probably weren’t using them anyway

The company extended its shutdown timeline for Chrome apps Google is going to let you use Chrome apps for a little while longer, as the company on Monday  announced an extension  to its planned timeline to end support for the software ( via  9to5Google ). If you aren’t familiar with Chrome apps, they’re apps that you install in Chrome that work similarly to apps that you’d launch from your desktop — like this one for  read-it-later app Pocket . But they aren’t widely adopted — Google said that “approximately 1 percent of users on Windows, Mac, and Linux actively use Chrome packaged apps” all the way back  in August   2016  when it first announced plans to wind down support for the platform. CHROME APPS WILL WORK ON WINDOWS, MAC, AND LINUX UNTIL JUNE 2021 In January , Google said Chrome apps would stop working on Windows, Mac, and Linux this year (technically, the company set a June 2020 deadline, but it doesn’t look like it actually followed through). Now, Google says Chrome apps will ...

Infinix Hot 10 specs leak

Infinix is gearing-up for a new device launch. The Hot 10 has surfaced online, from a couple of sources, under the X682C and X682B model numbers. The Google Play Console entry for the phone is quite descriptive. It even features a render of the handset. One that looks very similar to the current  Infinix Hot 9 . We only get a see the front side of the Hot 10, though. And, in fact, the camera setup is about the only thing left to the imagination by these leaks. That and the display diagonal. We know that the Hot 10 will be based on the MediaTek Helio G70 chipset, along with 4GB of RAM and an HD+ panel, with a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels. The X682C and X682B model numbers also popped-up in a TUV Rheinland certification, only offering a single additional detail. It’s an important one, though – battery capacity, rated at a respectable 5,100 mAh Since Infinix has been keeping a relatively straight-forward lineup lately, we can only assume that the Hot 10 will be one of at least two anno...

Japanese social media reacts to Billie Eilish’s new animated, Ghibli-esque music video

The singer’s latest promotional video shows her  walking through a mystical landscape , holding hands with trees, and being lifted into a sunrise. Billie Eilish , the 18-year-old pop sensation, has been steadily rising in acclaim since she first began releasing music on SoundCloud. In her catalog of ethereal, emotional electropop hits she portrays herself as brash and combative-like in her smash hit “Bad Guy”, and this trend continued with her aggressively vivid video for “you should see me in a crown”, directed by  collaborator Takashi Murakami . Her recent single, “my future”, differs quite severely from these previous offerings not only in tone but in its presentation. In the video for “my future”, a much more serene depiction of Eilish wanders her way through a lush meadow and basks in the presence of nature, while the lyrics to her song promise she’s “in love with [her] future” and she “can’t wait to meet her”. The rich colors and close-ups on dewy leaves have earned immediate com...

STRANGER THINGS THEORY: THE DEMOGORGON IS ACTUALLY THIS BELOVED CHARACTER

If this theory is correct,  Stranger Things  Season 4 is going to be way weirder than anything we've seen so far. One of the appeals of  Stranger Things  is the way it treats its creatures. There are no humanizing aspects to these villains. Like any creepy  alien movie  of the '80s, the monsters are monsters and the heroes are the heroes. It's the perfect recipe for a quintessential good vs. evil story. However, what if this is all a façade, and not only is the Demogorgon more humanized, but it's actually one of the protagonists' future form? Upon a  Stranger Things  rewatch, Redditor  u/CinnaSol  cooked up a doozy of a fan theory. What if the Demogorgon is actually Will from the future, sent back in time through the Upside Down to perpetuate a never-ending time loop? It sounds a bit more like  Dark  than  Stranger Things , but it makes sense after a bit of explaining. Firstly, the Upside Down needs to be explained. We already learned the Upside Down is another univ...

Key Android Auto Feature Working Once Again After Major Samsung Update

One of the most widespread issues in Android Auto has finally been resolved with a recent software update shipped to Samsung phone owners. More specifically, quite a lot of Android Auto users have been struggling with voice commands and broken “ OK, Google ” when their Android phones were connected to the head units installed in cars, and despite several updates released by Google itself, the issue somehow persisted to this day. An update that Google released a couple of months ago for the Google app, which is the one responsible for powering the Assistant experience, resolved the problem temporarily and restored voice commands in Android Auto. However, the glitch returned in the very next update, once again making voice input unavailable while driving with AA on the screen. And now it looks like Samsung phone owners have received an update which silently resolves the broken voice commands and “ OK, Google ” command. The update to One UI 2.1, which itself is quite a massive release for...

Bill Gates calls Microsoft’s TikTok deal a poisoned chalice

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has described the company’s potential TikTok deal as a poisoned chalice. In a wide-ranging  interview with  Wired , Gates makes it clear that Microsoft acquiring parts of TikTok won’t be easy or simple. “Who knows what’s going to happen with that deal,” says Gates. “But yes, it’s a poison[ed] chalice.” He also notes that being a big player in the social media business “is no simple game,” as Microsoft will have to contend with a whole new level of content moderation. Asked if Gates is wary of Microsoft getting into the social media game, he suggests that Facebook having some more competition is “probably a good thing” but that “having Trump kill off the only competitor, it’s pretty bizarre.” Gates seems as confused as the rest of us about how this potential TikTok deal is proceeding, especially with President Trump suggesting the US Treasury will  need some type of cut  from any acquisition. “I agree that the principle this is proceeding on is singly str...
